Pilot terms of use

What Uplift does
Uplift updates the amounts on Xero repeating invoice templates you select, at your instruction. Because Xero's API has no in-place edit, each update creates a verified replacement template and then removes the original; the original is snapshotted and can be restored with one click. Already-issued invoices are never touched. Attachments on a template do not carry over to the replacement — the preview flags this per template before you confirm.
Your responsibilities
Connect only Xero organisations you are authorised to manage. If you are a bookkeeper, accountant or other agent, you confirm you have your client's authority to connect their organisation and change their templates. Review the preview before confirming a run — the preview is free, shows every line, and nothing is written until you confirm. Check the run report afterwards; anything needing attention is highlighted, and originals of failed items are left untouched.
The pilot
During the pilot every run is free and the service is provided for evaluation. Published per-run pricing is shown in the app so you can tell us whether it feels fair — you will never be charged without seeing a price first and paid plans will require your explicit sign-up. We may change or withdraw features during the pilot; if we ever needed to wind the service down, your templates and all issued invoices remain safely in Xero, and snapshots would be available for restore for at least 30 days.
Liability
We built Uplift around preview, per-field verification, automatic holds on imminent billing dates, and one-click restore, and we stand behind that engineering. Even so, the pilot service is provided as-is, and our total liability is capped at the amount you have paid us (during the free pilot, nothing). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud. You remain responsible for your own billing decisions and for reviewing changes before confirming them.
Data
How we handle your data — what we access, store, where it lives, and how to have it deleted — is set out in the privacy policy. Disconnecting from Xero at any time revokes our access.
The legal bit
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
